Dr Rob Waterworth, Director of the Mullion Group, has been appointed as interim Director of the newly formed non-profit organisation, moja global. In this role Rob will continue to drive the innovative approach being developed by moja global to integrate remote sensing and land management data using a new generation of software tools and flexible support.

Moja global is a collaborative project housed under the Linux Foundation to provide next generation, open source tools for estimating emissions and removals of greenhouse gases from the land sector. The first tool nearing completion is the Full Lands Integration Tool (FLINT).

The FLINT is a new, second generation integrating tool based on over 20 years of experience building and operating MRV tools in Australia and Canada. The FLINT aims to make implementing and operating advanced systems achievable for all countries. It is a generic platform that provides a framework for data collection, analysis and continuous improvement. For more information about moja global and the FLINT, please visit moja.global.

The Mullion Group is proud to support the ongoing development of moja global as it strives to put reliable, thoroughly tested, well documented and easily understood tools in the hands of decision-makers everywhere.
