Consolidated Guide to the REDD+ Rules Under the UNFCCC
Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation and the Role of Conservation, Sustainable Management of Forests and Enhancement of Forest Carbon Stocks in Developing Countries (REDD+) has become a focus of governments and private enterprise in the pursuit of climate change mitigation and adaptation.
To make sense of the evolution of REDD+ and its potential implementation, the Baker & McKenzie Law for Development Initiative developed The Consolidated Guide to the REDD+ Rules under the UNFCCC . The Guide simplifies and brings together international law on REDD+ and was launched at COP20 in Lima, Peru.
Dr Rob Waterworth from the Mullion Group contributed his in-depth policy and technical knowledge of REDD+ to the development of the Guide.
